Zach Sawyer

A native of Saint Joseph, Michigan, Zach studied music at Northwestern University (M.M. Music Performance) and Michigan State University (B.M. Music Education and Performance). Zach is the Director of Education at the Brookline Music School. He recently relocated to the Boston area from Minnesota, where he was Director of Orchestras in the Stillwater Area Public Schools for five years. Prior to his time in Minnesota, Zach lived in Chicago and Michigan, where he was a freelance double bassist and music teacher. When he's not making music, Zach can be found outdoors riding his bike, running, hiking, skiing, or kayaking.
