Laura Fanning
Laura Fanning is originally from Buffalo, NY, and at the age of eight she began her violin studies with Frances Kaye of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. She received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, where she studied violin with Anthony Princiotti and served as principal second violinist in the Dartmouth Symphony. She played in the Greenwich Village Orchestra in New York while earning her medical degree at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. She then moved to the Boston area to complete her medical residency and fellowship training. Currently, Laura is a Drug Safety physician at Biogen. She is also an Allergist and Immunologist, practicing at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and she is on the faculty of Harvard Medical School. She enjoys playing chamber music and is an avid runner.
