Deborah Apple, Principal Viola
Deborah Apple is an active and diverse performer and teacher in the Boston area. She currently has a studio of over thirty students in Brookline, Newton, and Wayland, where she provides Suzuki and traditional instruction to all ages. She recently completed her Master of Music degree in viola performance at the Boston Conservatory where she studied with Patricia McCarty and completed her degree recital on April 9, 2010. While in school Deborah performed with several chamber groups coached by Judith Eissenberg, Max Levinson, Lila Brown, and Rictor Noren. Prior to moving to Boston, Deborah graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina where she studied with Ryan Kho and Dr. Constance Gee. Deborah has also performed with various chamber groups at several summer programs including Meadowmount School of Music, Icicle Creek Music Festival, the Castleman Quartet Program, and Las Vegas Music Festival where she has been coached by Renato Bonacini, Basil Vendryes, Mark Rudolph, Diane Monroe, James Lyon, and members of the Ying Quartet.
