Cara Bergantino

Cara Bergantino is a violist and music educator who is originally from Brookline, Massachusetts.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a concentration in viola performance from New York University.  During her time in New York, Cara performed with the Arnica Quartet, NYU Symphony Orchestras, One World Symphony, and Jackson Heights Orchestra.  During the summers, Cara is the Assistant Director of Camp Encore/Coda, a music camp in Sweden, Maine.  Cara is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from Boston University while working full time in the Newton Public Schools as an instrumental music teacher, orchestra and band director, and co-director of the Newton All City Orchestra.
