Alexandra Johnson

Alexandra holds a degree in Trumpet Performance and Music Education from University of Massachusetts Amherst (BM), where she studied with the Albany Symphony Principle Trumpet Eric Berlin. Since graduating, she has performed with multiple community symphonies including Boston Chamber Orchestra, Waltham Symphony, Metrowest Symphony, and Symphony Pro Musica. Along with orchestral music, Alexandra also performs in numerous pit orchestras for musical theater productions such as Chicago, Gypsy, Annie, Guys And Dolls, and White Christmas.Alexandra has attended and performed atThe Atlantic Brass Quintet & Triton Brass Quintet Seminar and Rodney Mack Philadelphia Big Brass Trumpet Seminar. In the past two years she has studied with Andrew Sorg, James Pendolfi, Steven Emery, and Tony D’aveni. Currently she is studying jazz improvisation from Jason Palmer. In addition to performing and studying music, Alexandra teaches private trumpet and piano lessons at the Marblehead School of Music in Marblehead, MA.
