2025 Bouix Concerto Competition

The Brookline Symphony is proud to announce the 2025 Bouix Concerto Competition. 

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accept applications for Piano auditions this year due to constraints with our performance venue. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  • When: The competition will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025

  • Where: This year’s competition will be held at the Brookline Music School

  • To Apply: Please submit your application here

  • Deadline: All applications are due by Friday, January 17, 2025

    • Applications will be reviewed after the application deadline and all applicants will be contacted by Saturday, January 25.  If your application is selected for an audition, you will receive an email regarding your schedule as well as information on how to pay the competition fee.  Auditions are 10 minutes 

  • Fee: If your application is selected for an audition, you will receive an email with instructions to pay the $50 competition fee.

  • For non-local applicants, please note that we are unable to pay room and board for the audition, or performance.

  • Repertoire: We will only be accepting applications for full pieces. Your repertoire choice must be 30 minutes or less in length. At this time, we are unable to accept double piano applications.
